Here's the Beef on our Beef
Our beef are heifers, mostly Black Angus and Hereford for their meat marbelling as well as some Limosine and Charlais, who have been munching on our natural hay all winter long from beautiful organic pasture. Our pasture has never been sprayed or fertilizer since purchased in 1997. That is as organic as it gets.
All summer and fall, the herd feasted on the best non-sprayed grass pastured around. They aren't fed grain nor feed from a factory. Just plain, all-natural grass. Pesticide free. Herbicide free. The way cows were meant to eat.
The results? Our beef is delicious, healthy and good for you. These cows aren't given growth hormones, antibiotics or stuffed with grain. Just grass is all they eat.
All our meat is prepared by a local, federal and provincial government-inspected butcher named Ron Hall up in Manilla, Ontario.
